First Eye Care Killeen is proud of our heritage of service to the armed forces and to those in the greater Fort Hood area. Established as Affordable Eye Care in 1988 by Dr. Donald Bockin, our practice grew quickly in conjunction with the military post, city and surrounding municipalities. Affordable Eye Care was founded as a comprehensive eye care center, and developed a loyal patient following by providing advanced eye care and excellent customer service.

In 2006, Dr. Bockin retired from the practice, passing his patient care responsibilities to Dr. Lucas. It was important to Dr. Bockin that the legacy of unparalleled patient service and value be maintained at the practice, and this legacy remains the core practice philosophy today with First Eye Care Killeen.

Throughout the years we have continuously invested in the technology, systems, facilities, staff and appearance of our office. These enhancements allow our doctors to serve you in a manner consistent with true state-of-the-art eye care.
